A previous post mentioned these but the point may bear repeating.
A favorite detective character (fictional) believes the three things in the title of this piece account for all murders. I would add that they probably account for most other crimes as well. Of course, there may be some subheadings. For example, sex would certainly include jealousy and infidelity. Greed could stand by itself but everyone knows that craziness can include a wide spectrum of mental issues, such as paranoia, psychosis, and other aberrations of the human personality.
Why am I mentioning these again? I was wondering, as another New Year celebration has come and gone without a resolution, which of these might be at least part of the motive in the murder of Stacey Burns. At least one person out there knows.
So, Mr. or Ms. Brave Killer, why not step forward and tell us why you would take the life of a beautiful, vital, and loving young woman?The police are just waiting for you to confess. Hope you have a guilt ridden miserable New Year!

“Control”. It was about control really. We all watched Ed spiral out of it, he had lost everything (in his mind) and had just gotten his 3rd dui.We all watched as he threatened, witheld support and eventually killed her. Then we all watched as he took back custody of his kids,house, van, property and finally, control. He’s not a brave killer at all, just a coward with the need to control. We ALL watched it and we all let it happen. FYI, The last word from detectives was “sorry”, Not sorry for never getting back to you, not sorry for accusing you of murder, not sorry for letting him go, no, he’s sorry that my case isn’t the only case he has to worry about. Sorry is the state of N.H. justice dept.
I was unprepared for the Burns. A poor country woodcutter with nothing to offer Stacey but support for her desire to leave a man she desperatly wanted to leave. I believed that after a time Ed would get help and be the man most men become after this common ‘thing’ happens to them. Now, after all this time I understand completely who, of should I say ‘what’ Eddie boy Burns is. A product of two alcoholic parents and an abusive father he became a monster. The first time Stacey told me “he’s going to kill me” I didn’t believe her. Lots of my friends wives left them and none of them turned into psyco-overkillers. Eddie is the one percenter, he is a killer. Why ? start w/ his childhood.
An old friend once told me in reference to forestery equpiment, “never send a boy to do a man’s errand” Strelzin knows Ed isn’t one of those kids that killed the nurse in Mt. Vernon. Strelzin vs Burns is sending a boy to do a man’s errand, it will never happen. 7 years is a marriage, not an ‘active’ murder case.
