My last post explained my request under New Hampshire RSA 91-A to obtain “records of reports, interviews, and other pertinent materials related to the investigation of the murder of Stacey Burns on May 10, 2009 in Wolfeboro, N.H. between the dates of May 10, 2009-May 30, 2009 and May 5, 2017 -June 6, 2020.

The response, dated August 22, explains that they are unable to comply with the five day period as mentioned in the RSA but anticipate being able to further respond to my request within the next 180 days.

My response? Six months is a long way from five days and I seriously doubt that any files, documents, or anything else will be forthcoming even allowing for the long period of delay.

If anyone has ideas on how this may be questioned with authorities, please reach out to me through this blog or my website. (duke@dukesouthard.com)
