Here is a press release regarding a program which will be presented in New Hampshire on September 29, 2013:
“On Sunday, September 29, 2013, at 2:00 P.M. Duke Southard will present a program entitled “Adventures of a True Crime Neophyte” in Willing Workers Hall on Route 109 in Melvin Village, N.H.
The program will focus on his experiences in the true crime genre of writing and his work on Murder in a Small Town: The Tragic Death of Stacey Burns. The emphasis of the program will be the process, that is, the how? what? why? of the project, NOT the details of the crime itself. This program has been presented to professional writing groups in Arizona but will be adapted to the interest of a general audience.
Duke will be available beginning at 1 P.M. to speak with anyone interested in his new, revised edition of A Favor Returned, which was released in paperback and e-book format on July 15, 2013 by Wheatmark Publishing of Tucson, Arizona.
For more information on any of his work, visit www.dukesouthard.com.”
Please note the emphasis of the program in the second paragraph.
