Here is one response to my “Fifteen Months!” blog of yesterday. (Paraphrased) It assesses the state of the Stacey Burns murder investigation.

There had been much activity on the case in the last six months. The police are not conducting additional interviews as these would be a waste of limited resources since they don’t need any more information from past interviewees. The authorities have a plan in place to accumulate enough evidence to make sure they can obtain a conviction in what is a largely circumstantial case. They are missing a crucial piece of evidence. (I assume this to be the murder weapon)

My response? I sincerely hope this analysis is correct; however, I have serious doubts about it.

Anyone out there care to comment on this assessment?
