The post by Jim Vittum in which he relates an incident which took place while he was working a logging operation for Ed Burns is a perfect example of something I mentioned in my last post. It is an incident which is contained in the book, Murder in a Small Town: The Tragic Death of Stacey Burns. The reason it appears in the book is that it is what I would consider backstory; that is, it is revelatory of characters who play a role in the life of Stacey Burns. The incident has four characters: Jim Vittum, Ed Burns, Nana B, and Ed Burns’ sister. It is a prime example of why I would think the Burns family would like to have an opportunity to tell their side of the story. (unless their side of the story is no different than Jim Vittum’s.)

As mentioned in many of my posts, I am readily available if anyone new wants to provide any information.

We will be traveling to New Hampshire in late July and I would be happy to meet with anyone in person during that trip.
