A regular reader contributor to this blog states in a post response to my “A Favorite Quotation” post that according to a New Hampshire State Police Sergeant,  the Stacey Burns murder is now classified officially as a “cold case” rather than “open-unsolved.”

May we assume that the NHSP or the NH Attorney General’s office will make this public if it is a fact?

If the classification is changed, does that mean more information will be made available in hopes of finding new evidence to bring the case back to the forefront?

I’d love to hear from some other folks out there who would know about this!
