Thank you to all who responded to my “What do you think?” question in the last post. The results, which are viewable, are close to unanimous. It appears that most people would want to see something published about the Stacey Burns murder case.

Currently, on my website (www.dukesouthard.com) anyone can read the first draft of a few pages at the beginning of Murder in a Small Town: The Tragic Death of Stacey Burns. These pages have been revised and edited since the original publication but the information is substantially the same.

I am investigating the possibility of publishing what I have written so far in serial fashion as an e-book but am awaiting advice and counsel about that possibility from my publisher. My plan would be a simple one. I would divide the book into fifteen equal segments and publish one segment per month. Of course, my hope would be that by the time segment fifteen rolls around in May, 2015, there would have been an arrest in this case. This is probably wishful thinking on my part.

Stay tuned . . .
