Here is part of the inspiration for A Favor Returned. My father’s wrecked race car becomes a spectator attraction after what should have been a deadly accident on Memorial Day, 1950. The miracle of his survival in the crash becomes the centerpiece for the fictional story. The newly revised edition is in process to come out as a paperback and an e-book later this spring.
