The revision of A Favor Returned continues. The paperback/e-book version will be called either “New Edition” or “Revised Edition” or possibly even something else to indicate that it is a new book.
Here is a fascinating reality that every professional writer already knows but one that I find compelling and interesting enough to mention in this blog. In a number of instances, I have been able to use several lines of realistic dialogue to replace several paragraphs of description, improving the flow of the story dramatically. I think it would be a wonderful exercise for any writer to take a few paragraphs of what they’ve written and try to convert those into dialogue without losing anything necessary to the story.
I know this is basic information but I thought it worth sharing.
