A Favor Returned. Some who have read the book in its original hard cover version have expressed concern that the story will lose its power during this revision. As mentioned in blog #1, this revision is designed to improve the flow of the story, not to change it. It will be an interesting exercise for anyone, whether writer or reader, to make the comparison when the paperback and e-book are released.
Here is an interesting fact. With almost half of the book remaining to be rewritten, it already is fourteen pages shorter. Stay tuned to future blogs for specific examples of “tighter” writing.
