Proofreading/copyediting is in its final stages. It is likely that next week I’ll sign off on the final approval for publication then we will receive a publication date.  This is a very exciting time as the new edition of the book nears completion. Thank to all for your patience in this process.

I often think of the advice given to me when I ventured into writing after a thirty five year career in public education. “Write a book you can be proud of,” I was told by two professionals whom I highly respected. I was proud of the original A Favor Returned but not for the reason that they meant. I was proud simply because I actually did it. The rewritten and revised edition makes me proud for the reason they meant and I’m not the least bit nervous about putting it out there.
